During a telephone conversation on Thursday, Amirabdollahian and Hissein Brahim Taha discussed the latest developments in the region and the Muslim world, including the recent desecration of al-Aqsa Mosque by the Zionist regime, sacrilegious move by a notorious French magazine, and the situation of women in Afghanistan.
Thanking the Secretary General of the Islamic Cooperation Organization for condemning the recent Zionist desecration of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Amirabdollahian noted that the consequences of this action will be heavy for the fake Israeli regime.
Referring to the Zionist provocative attempts against al-Aqsa Mosque, he proposed creating an effective legal and international mechanism to stop offensive acts against religious and holy sites.
Amirabdollahian also thanked Hissein Brahim Taha for his stance in condemning the sacrilegious move by a notorious French magazine.
Referring to the responsibility of the French government in this regard, he underlined that beyond the repeated acts of this notorious French magazine against the religious sanctities, the role and guidance of the Zionists can be seen.
He reiterated the Islamic Republic of Iran's stance on the need to end the war and conflict in Yemen, Afghanistan, and Ukraine.
Hissein Brahim Taha, for his part, condemned the recent Zionist desecration of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, expressing worry about the entrance of the Zionist regime's minister of public security into the al-Aqsa Mosque.
Terming such provocative actions by the Zionists as disturbing peace and stability in the region, he emphasized that he is discussing various bodies to pressure the Zionist regime to stop such attempts.
Condemning the sacrilegious move by a notorious French magazine, he underscored that they are investigating the matter for reacting proportionately to it.
The two sides expressed deep concern over the Taliban's decision to ban girls and women from studying in Afghanistan, calling the measures inconsistent with the progressive precepts of Islam.
